Where to find home school curriculum

Choosing curriculum is easily one of the most challenging parts of starting to home school… There are so many options out there, and they are all pretty different. It can be really overwhelming at first.

I draw from a combination of several sources and compile them to make the curriculum best fit to support my son’s learning needs. We currently use curriculum from:

Easy peasy

Apologia

The good and the beautiful

My fathers world

Under the house

And Complete curriculum 1.

There is something to be loved from each set. If you prefer to have the lessons ready to go and not have to do any planning I would recommend Easy peasy. You are able to choose the theme, and placement for your child and make several adjustments if needed. It gives you the option to print or to do everything online, and is also password protected.

I absolutely love everything about The Good and the beautiful curriculum and next year, I plan to use more than just language arts from their curriculum. The curriculum is more rigorous in my opinion than what he was working on in public school, so he isn’t bored with it. If you can afford it, this would be my next suggestion. Below is a list of the many places I’ve found that you are able to purchase curriculum from, enjoy. Feel free to copy and paste this post into a word doc and keep it in case you need it.
