Why we began homeschooling
So what made us decide to start homeschooling anyway?
I was never truly satisfied with the public education system and how they treat learning as a one size fits all type of thing. I believe in personalized, learner focused education. I wanted my children to be taught the bible and that obviously is no longer allowed in public education. I want my children to grow up to have a never-ending curiosity and love of learning. Two out of three of my kiddo’s have special needs, and when my oldest was in public school he was treated as a distraction to others learning instead of being seen as the brilliant and curious little boy he actually is, which is why I chose to home school, and looking back I couldn’t be happier about the decision.
